Sell Your Alternator and Starter Cores
Alternators and starters are often sold in mixed boxes or pallets. Tell us roughly how many you have, and send photos of the load and some close-ups of the tags.
What to include in your quote request
- Approximate count, and whether alternators and starters are mixed
- Photos of the full box or pallet
- Close-ups of several part-number tags
- Whether units are complete (cases, pulleys, solenoids)
- Whether the load is clean and dry (no oil-soaked units)
What affects the offer
- Exact identification (part number, OEM or casting number)
- Completeness and condition
- Quantity, plus whether bulk or repeat supply is available
- Current demand and resale options
- Freight cost from your ZIP code to us
- Broken cases, missing solenoids or pulleys, heavy oil contamination
Preparing it for shipment (after you accept a quote)
- Pack in a sturdy box or a pallet box (gaylord). Don't overfill past what the box can carry
- Small quantities may ship by parcel. The carrier's per-package weight limits apply (UPS, for example, caps packages at 150 lb)
- Larger loads ship on a pallet by freight
